Karim Edwards’ attempt to avoid trial for the alleged fatal collision with medical student Kenneth Mathew on Friars Hill Road in 2022 has been rejected by a magistrate.
The collision resulted in the death of Mathew and left another student injured.
Edwards’ case is scheduled to be transferred to the High Court on October 23, marking the two-year anniversary of the tragic incident.
