Ok, Mr. Principal…I understand the government’s responsibility for the roads, but with the considerable school fees we are paying, don’t you think there should be some funds available to at least patch up the road to the school?
Every day, as I drop my daughter off, I cringe at the sight of those potholes. I don’t drive a large SUV or a rugged vehicle that can handle these conditions. My car is taking a beating on this route, and it’s frustrating to deal with the damage multiple times a day during pick-ups and drop-offs.
It’s rather shocking that we, as parents, are burdened twice: with exorbitant fees and poor road conditions. I really hope the Baptiste Academy can take some action to make our lives just a little easier.
Please don’t suggest I consider other schools; I believe in this one. A temporary fix to the road is essential.
Grumpy Bumpy Parent
Sound so silly. 🙄
The roads in Antigua is the worst it’s ever bin in the history of Antigua and Barbuda. Everybody should drive SUV and ATV it won’t ever get better. My opinion
And pave the school parking lot as well. Instead of mandating where parents can or can’t park. Everytime it rains, our vehicles are mucky and the children have to traipse through mud to get into school. School fees are too expensive for this to not have been addressed by now.
How is it the school’s duty to fix the road? Attacking the school for the condition of the road is just ridiculous. There are other by roads that can be used as well. The fees at the school are comparable with other schools in the country and actually below most. The complaint of the bad roads is warranted, but it is focused on the wrong target.
