The Police are continuing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 71-year-old Skerritt’s Pasture man.

The elderly man, who lived alone was discovered around 11:45 am on Monday 26 December inside his house with what is believed to be a self-inflicted wound to his upper body.

As further details come to hand the public will be informed.

The Police Administration express condolences to the family, and also pledge its continued support during this difficult period.
