David Rudder has Parkinson’s Disease,

David Rudder has revealed in an interview with Loop News that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, saying however that the illness will not hinder him from performing.

He said however the four-hour long concerns may be difficult, saying that his performance will be shorter than usual.

Rudder said he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2020 when he started having strange “feelings” in his body after the death of a friend.

Rudder said he “began walking slower and when telling jokes, his face would remain expressionless”.

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive disorder that affects the nervous system and the parts of the body controlled by the nerves.

Symptoms start slowly. The first symptom may be a barely noticeable tremor in just one hand. Tremors are common, but the disorder may also cause stiffness or slowing of movement.

“It’s definitely not uphill but downhill…I only move when I am on stage,” he said.
