On Wednesday, issued red notices for a Guyanese couple wanted in connection with the murder of police officer, Quincy Lewis.

Last week the police in Guyana issued local notices for Thakurdial Samaroo and Naqeeba Zahid Zafarali.

They believe the couple Samaroo and Zafarali have left the island illegally

Police in Guyana have been searching for two years after Lewis went missing.

And finally, they discovered skeletal remains, believed to be that of the missing police officer. The remains were, according to reports, found buried in the Madewini Sandpit area on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.

“The discovery was made after police questioned Shafeek “Profit” Vernon and Jamel Van Lewis in connection with Lewis’ murder”, media outlets from Guyana reported.
