Residents in Gunthropes, Lightfoot (West), Hodges Bay, and Royal Gardens are expected to experience delays in the collection of the garbage

The National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA); the agency mandated to collect, transport and dispose of solid waste in Antigua and Barbuda in a statement to the media said they are working to resolve the issue promptly.

Residents have been experiencing what has been described as unavoidable” delays in their garbage collections over the past several weeks

Paynters, Blue Waters and Crosbies will also experience delays in their collection today.

“The National Solid Waste Management Authority wishes to advise private citizens that if there is a delay or missed collection of their residential waste services, to contact the Authority via the hotline number 562-1347, “ the statement added
