The School of The Deaf has received a donation of $7,596.44 from the Rotary Club of Antigua.

The cheque was presented by the Club’s President, Michael Spencer, to Juliet Hazlewood, a representative of the school, on Thursday at Rotary House.

President Spencer expressed his satisfaction in providing additional support to encourage teachers to continue their studies in special education.

According to Hazlewood, the donation will be utilized to fund professional development courses in child psychology and professional childcare.
