The Sir Lester Bird Medical Center has temporarily suspended its visitor policy, effective from 4 p.m. today, due to Tropical Storm Philippe.

No visitors will be allowed to enter the hospital until the Tropical Storm Watch is lifted.

All essential areas, including inpatient services, will continue to operate as usual. This includes our Emergency Room, which will remain open.

The SLBMC is advising against going out in stormy conditions unless it’s an emergency. If you have an emergency, please dial 911.
