Claryton Jeffery, the 29 year old man who allegedly attacked his sister by pouring scalding hot water on her back has been granted bail

The incident occurred in the vicinity of the Bolans Playing Field, along Valley Road.

According to reports, Jeffrey confronted his older sister, pot in hand, as she was walking in the area.

Without warning, he allegedly poured the boiling water over her, causing immediate distress and severe pain.

The incident took a turn as he reportedly continued to assault his sister, who had fallen to the ground, by kicking her repeatedly.

The victim was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where she is presently receiving medical care and treatment for her injuries.

In a recent legal development, Jeffrey made his appearance in the All Saints Magistrate’s Court charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He is now required to adhere to a bail amount of $10,000, including a cash component of $3,000 if he wants to be released from custody.

Furthermore, a series of conditions have been imposed on Jeffrey to include him maintaining a minimum distance of 50 feet from her at all times.
