Michael Joseph Wins St John’s Rural West Primary Election

Michael Joseph has been declared the primary election winner for the St. John’s Rural West constituency of the Antigua & Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP).

The primary was held on December 8 and saw active participation from party members, resulting in the selection of Joseph as the party’s candidate for the upcoming elections.

Joseph, one of the five aspirants seeking the ABLP candidacy, secured a significant victory in the primary, earning the trust and support of party members in St. John’s Rural West.

Joseph received 385 votes, followed by Rushelle Ellis with 94, Kevin Morgan with 89, Shawn Bemjamin 47 and Aziza Lake with 7. There was one spoilt ballot

The announcement of Joseph’s victory has been met with enthusiasm among ABLP members.

He thanks his family, friends, and supporters, who he said had been working behind the scenes.

Joseph said he would begin the work in his community starting today Saturday
