Denris Josiah, a 21-year-old resident of Old Road, has been charged by the police for the murder of Ricaldo Joseph, a 23-year-old fellow villager.

Following the tragic machete attack that resulted in Joseph’s untimely death on Sunday morning, Josiah was taken into custody and officially charged on Wednesday evening. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday morning.

According to the police, Josiah allegedly grabbed a machete and fatally injured Joseph during a dispute that took place at a local bar in the community.

Additionally, a 19-year-old man who tried to intervene in the altercation also suffered a chop wound.
