Residents in St. Johns are reporting a string of vehicle part thefts, with a particular focus on Honda StepWagon bumpers recently.

Authorities are said to be investigating multiple cases, including one where a purple Honda StepWagon had its front bumper stolen, estimated to be worth $3000.

The theft reportedly occurred after 3 a.m. while the vehicle was parked on a side road in St. Johns.

Another incident involved a black StepWagon on St. Mary’s Street, where the bumper was reportedly stolen between April 2 and April 3.

In both cases, the perpetrator is believed to have used force to remove the bumpers.

Police are actively investigating these incidents.
