  1. Clearly abuse and I applaud the gentleman for interrupting.

And I get it, in the old times we all underwent some abuse in the form of corporal punishment but times are changing and I’m not saying do away with corporal punishment but find the right balance.

She was truly taking it to a level it doesn’t have to get to and then we wonder why some these kids seek out validation elsewhere and in the form of substances. Wise up!!

    • That was too extreme. I hope that there is a child protection service there.

      • Facts! That’s abuse smh 🤦🏾‍♂️ I don’t mind that was an older that, but this young🤦🏾‍♂️👎🏾👎🏾

  2. There is no FINE LINE between abuse and discipline, once you’ve crossed over, you know! Having said that, the mother appears to be pregnant, so elevated hormones could be in play here. I DO NOT CONDONE CHILD ABUSE

Notwithstanding all the above, we do have an ongoing problem with undisciplined youths locally. We need to be cognizant that a parent is ultimately responsible for disciplining their children. In fact, I believe that quite recently, people were clamoring for laws that would hold parents responsible for their children’s behavior!

Outside of physical abuse, I would posit, that we let parents discipline their children, so that the police won’t have to do it later!
