Corthwright Marshall Has Died
Corthwright Marshall, a long-serving member of the United Progressive Party, passed away today, after a prolonged struggle with cancer.
Due to his illness, he was relieved of his candidacy for the St. Mary’s South slate in 2022. The party expressed concerns about the potential strain a demanding political campaign could put on his health.
The party’s leadership concluded at the time that it would be unfair to subject him to the physical challenges and anxiety involved in campaigning, despite Marshall’s insistence that he was capable of running.
