Ernesto west of Antigua near Nevis moving away but gaining strength

At 11 am, Ernesto was 55 miles west of Antigua (near Nevis) moving away to the west-northwest (WNW) at 18 mph; the max winds have increased to 50 mph.

It is gaining strength and a hurricane watch has been issued for the Virgin Islands, where it is heading next.
