FEMALE POLICE OFFICER DIES

The Commissioner of Police and members of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda are mourning the death of Constable Sandra Browne-Peters. Constable Peters died shortly after 7am on Saturday, August 17 at the Emergency Room of Sir Lester Bird Medical Center, following a brief illness. She was 49 years old.
Commissioner of Police, Mr. Atlee Rodney expresses deepest sympathies to her immediate family, colleagues, and close friends on behalf of the Police Force, as they mourn her passing.

Constable Browne-Peters is described as one who had a friendly personality and was a diligent worker. She last worked at the Criminal Investigations Department prior to becoming ill and subsequent passing. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues and friends.

 

Aurthor Leo Buscaglia says , “I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.”

Further details of her funeral will be announced at a later date. May the soul of Constable Sandra Browne- Peters, and the souls of all the faithfully departed continue to rest in eternal peace.
