Prime Minister Gaston Browne has met with members of the University of the West Indies Guilds of Undergraduates at the Five Islands Campus.

The group included the presidents and other executive members of the Guilds of Undergraduates from various campuses.

Prime Minister Browne expressed his pleasure in welcoming them to Antigua and Barbuda and emphasized the significance of UWI students and graduates for the development of Caribbean nations.

He also commended the Antigua and Barbuda Students Association for their efforts in advocating for students’ interests and encouraged them to continue their positive impact.

The prime minister highlighted the importance of UWI graduates in the globalized world and expressed his support for their future endeavors.

The meeting was attended by Education Minister Daryll Matthew, Tourism Minister Charles Max Fernandez, and Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister Lionel Max Hurst.
