A woman from Barbuda may be facing criminal charges after allegedly entering her ex-boyfriend’s home and intentionally damaging his property.
The man, a resident of Codrington Barbuda, reported to the Barbuda Police Station that his ex-girlfriend maliciously damaged his Samsung cell phone, valued at $700.00, four T-shirts, valued at $208.00, and two pairs of jeans, valued at $240.00.
Upon investigation, the police confirmed the damage to the items. The man stated that after a disagreement with the alleged offender at his home, he went outside and upon returning, discovered the damaged items.
Upon examination, it was evident that a sharp object had been used to cut several holes in the clothing, and the screen of the cell phone was damaged.
