One Nation Concert to be converted to a Festival

By Aabigayle McIntosh

The One Nation Concert held at the start of the New Year in Antigua and Barbuda to promote unity among citizens and residents will be transitioned to a Music Festival.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne also shares that come 2025, patrons will be required to pay to attend the event.

“We will be going to two days Saturday and Sunday and in 2026 we want to go in a Friday, Saturday, Sunday program, a full music festival. It means therefore that from next year patrons will have to pay as we transition into a music festival,” Browne said.

Some of the top of the line acts down to perform is Jamaican sensation Shenseea and Richie Spice.

“We should have a confirmation on her booking. Some people have also suggested we consider artists like Barrington Levy, Gramps Morgan, or even Richie Spice. Somebody even said to me Beenie and Bounty”, Browne said.
