The police have arrested and charged 26-year-old Alexta Francis with the alleged murder of St.Peter’s MP, Asot Michael.

The Golden Grove resident was taken into custody by police late Friday evening for questioning in connection with the ongoing investigation.

Commissioner of Police, Atlee Rodney is thanking the public for their patience and cooperation throughout the investigation.

He also continue to offer support to the Michael’s family on their tragic loss.

The commissioner is further commending his officers for their diligence and professionalism in handling the matter.

Francis is expected in court on Monday.

  4. Was this photo taken while he was in police custody? He looks like he was crying. I am curious to know why he killed Asot. Knowing Asot, it must be some mele…Im sorry he died. Happy police caught the culprit.
