Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, the Honourable Gaston Browne, met today with the Prime Minister of Tanzania, Kassim Majaliwa and Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Right Honourable Baroness Patricia Scotland, at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Browne extended an invitation to the Prime Minister of Tanzania to explore partnership opportunities in Antigua and Barbuda.

Highlighting the country’s commitment to sustainable development and economic growth, he expressed enthusiasm for strengthening ties with Tanzania.

Baroness Scotland echoed Prime Minister Browne’s sentiments, agreeing that the Caribbean would offer a valuable opportunity for collaboration and a worthwhile visit for the Tanzanian Prime Minister.
