Gladys Potter

Gladys Potter, the United Progressive Party (UPP) caretaker for St John’s Rural South, has announced her withdrawal from the upcoming primary election.

She indicated that the UPP leadership approved a primary to select a new candidate after a request from her branch. In her announcement, Potter expressed her concerns about the direction the branch is taking, which she believes strays from integrity and unity.
She remains committed to advocating for the residents of Antigua and Barbuda, particularly the marginalized.

Potter vowed to continue fighting against fear, hate, and poverty while encouraging citizens to uphold their civic duties. She concluded her statement with a message of hope and courage.
