Police have arrested and charged 48-year-old Kanassa Robinson of Villa with Attempted Murder, Robbery, and Sacrilege.

The charges stem from an incident on Sunday, November 24, at the St John’s Pentecostal Church (SJPC) House of Restoration on Lauchland Benjamin Drive.

Robinson is accused of attempting to shoot a member of the church and also robbing them of a vehicle valued at $10,000.

He was further charged for unlawfully breaking into the said church.

He should be appearing before the court sometime today.
