Jermaine Edwards Steps Back from UPP Primary in St. John’s Rural South

You can now listen to Antigua News articles!

The party must embrace bold changes to bridge generational and socioeconomic divides and foster trust within its ranks and across Antigua and Barbuda.

Without this transformation, it risks losing its relevance and the confidence of the people.

While I am stepping back from this process, I remain hopeful that the UPP can rise to meet the challenges of this era and become a true force for progress.”

Sincerely,

Jermaine N. Edwards

Well Lord! And then the pundits come and pass remarks about ABLP and Hon. Gaston Browne! I see this as a sad state of affairs! Ya’ll need to get it together most urgently. This is now no longer acceptable!

When UPP gonna realize that they are the problem and make a change? Are they really going to die on the Giselle/Pringle hill?

And where is John Bull in the midst of all this chaos, especially on the eve of an important Primary of the party she straddles? According to reports, she’s off to Africa (Ghana?) as a tourist!!!! This same albatross who is so ashamed of her Bosnia beginnings and therefore holds herself aloof from ordinary black Antiguans, who recently rallied with her disciples to shame, ostrasize and eventually chase away fellow Africans from Nigeria, who dared to visit our shores not long ago. I hope that social media is alive and well in Ghana and that some people remember her disrespect and nasty utterances and give her a double dose of her own medicine!!!

Instead of asking Pringle to step down..all the great minds should help him to improve bc he was there when non other was..give him a change and help to build him to reach where he should be instead of wanting to push him aside for their own power hungry gain..
