High and Family Court will be temporarily closed for holiday and renovations (Jamie Roacher)

Notice is hereby given that the High Court will be closed from the 25th – 26th December 2024 for the Christmas holidays and from Friday 27th December, 2024 to Friday 3rd January, 2025 for renovations to the High Court building.

All filing, service and disposition of matters not presently on the E Litigation Portal must be done to the mail address “[email protected]” as was done during previous closures of the High Court. Attorneys are kindly asked to refer to Practice Direction No 2 of 20, Covid-19 Emergency Measures (Re-Issue) for guidance, including the requirement for filing of an Undertaking with respect to the payment of filing fees on the re-opening of the Court on the 6th January 2025.

Injunctions and other urgent matters filed manually via the Emergency Filings email must also be copied to the Court Administrator Tammie Gage at [email protected] and copied to the Registrar and Deputy Registrar respectively at [email protected] and [email protected].

For all emergency matters pertaining to the Family Court please contact Office Manager Orlis Jacobs at [email protected]. All collections of payments will continue at the Magistrate Court, High Street.
