The road leading to where Orden’s vehicle was found

The police have found the vehicle belonging to Orden David.

Around 1 pm on Saturday, February 15, police were conducting an extensive search in some bushes near the Pares Secondary School and found the burnt remains of a Honda Fit motor car confirmed to be that of the missing Bolans resident.

There is no sighting of the missing man; however, the search continues. The vehicle was taken to the Police Headquarters for futher investigations.

David, who resides in Bolans, was last seen wearing a red vest and grey shorts, driving a black Honda Fit with the registration number A60870.

Witnesses indicate that he was last seen entering his black Honda Fit at Percival’s Gas Station on the night he disappeared, but it remains unclear which direction he took afterward.

A missing person report was filed at the Bolans Police Station on Sunday, leading to several search efforts that, unfortunately, have not yielded any results.

David is a counselor at the AIDS Secretariat and is well-known for his advocacy for LGBTQ rights.

He played a crucial role in the landmark 2022 court decision that deemed Antigua and Barbuda’s 1995 Sexual Offences Act unconstitutional, marking a significant win for the LGBTQ community.

Anyone with information that could help in finding David is encouraged to reach out to the Bolans Police Station at 462-1080 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913.

  7. Antigua is such a small country with a population of about one hundred thousand and don’t tell me that no one seen the smoke coming from the said burnt vehicle. People always on the road especially them young people liming late, some taking their men and women in bushes to sexual activity. We need more cameras on our roadways that actually work. Antigua is changing rapidly before our eyes especially with the high diversity population. Too much of our people are missing without a trace.

    • I woke up this morning and my heart was heavy. Heavy because the blatant disregard for human life is frightening. This is not just an Antiguan thing but also a worldly thing. The only issue is that Antigua is small and everyone knew passo just like majority of people know majority of people. What happened to Passo was deliberate and premeditated. I hope his family finds peace. He was a human being. Whether we supported his lifestyle or not he was a human. I pray that the families of all the other missing people finds peace.
