The Nail, Lash, and Wig industry in Antigua and Barbuda has blossomed into a vibrant aspect of women’s beauty routines.
But behind the glitter and glam, one might wonder: are we celebrating personal expression, or have we drifted a bit too far from our natural selves
in the quest for beauty perfection?
And of course the men’s pockets paying for it. Women are more concerned about hair than education. We are looking. Us men ain’t stupid lol
it has become very expensive now to have a relationship with a woman just to take her out to maybe dinner is going to cost you..new nails, hair style , lash, maybe shoes too…for what?..you paying for the dinner you putting gas in your car and at the end of it all see you tomorrow…no wonder crime is on the rise might as well go to a club
Comment *they are ashamed of who they are they hide the beauty that God has given them natural beauty is the best it’s not everyone of them that know how to keep their safe neat and tidy by using local stuff at night you can use coconut oil just blend it with the gel of the aloe vera. Just rub your face about your neck of the arms and see how much in the next morning when you wash it out or wash your skin and you will see that 10 years of beauty comes to your face that you are 10 years younger your glowing skin the fullness and the cleanest oh wow it’s so unfortunate that some people don’t know to accept the ugliness their large nose the skin of lips and a nice small eyes God has given them. Don’t they know that that eyelashes can mess up the eyes and the bleaching cream can cause cancer the makeup on your face can put holes in the face wrinkles will come 10 years before it should come they will not always want to wear it as they get older than it could damage the pigment of the skin.. I got so many different ways you can style your hair to make it look lovely
LOL To each his own. Its not for me but it could be somebody else’s cup of tea
It astounds me at how much these women spend on beauty but won’t pay their rent. With all that they could even own their own homes. What a waste.
All because this country continues to import unlimited numbers of idle, thrill seekers from Guyana, Jamaica and Santo Domingo. Our “men”, without exception, welcome this aberration as it affords them more flexibility in the mating market. Our women are then pressed into competition among themselves for the spoils, prioritizing the OUTSIDE appearance – hair, nails, eyelashes, surgical implants, the whole works – while placing little or no value on what’s on the INSIDE – quantity and quality of education, for example.
So round and round and round we go! Will this nonsense ever stop? I don’t think so.
HAHAHA. Antigua.news thanks for the refresher. You guys can be very entertaining. I come here to look for stories where there aint no gaston and jamal bashing and no politics. These are some of our social issues that we will never see addressed on ABS. Keep it up guys. But to comment on the story itself, men are the ones who make us believe that we are not enough. So they gravivtate towards women who they beleive looks difference, hence our need to try to compete
Then they can’t buy pad, can’t pay rent, can’t buy pampers and don’t have water to boil! But hey who cares. The hair is the priority. When she can’t find food she’ll call Mark or Randy
I have a friend who told me she had 3 boyfriends. One buys hair and takes care of her personal effects like nails and cloths. The other buys food and gas and the other helps with rent and utilities. She said she is living her best life. What is laughable is that the men know about each other. Messy much
I don’t blame your friend. Antigua man an dem too damn wikkid! A so fu do dem baxide!
