Prime Minister Gaston Browne is in Brazil, where he has joined fellow regional leaders for the Brazil-Caribbean Summit hosted by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
The summit, held in the Brazilian capital, brings together heads of government for critical discussions on climate change, trade, and economic cooperation.
The high-level meeting comes at a pivotal time in global geopolitics and just weeks before Antigua and Barbuda hosts the 55th Regular Session of the Organisation of American States (OAS) General Assembly, where many of the same themes will be further explored on a hemispheric scale.
Great to see our Prime Minister representing Antigua and Barbuda on the global stage. Climate change and trade are crucial issues for us.
Interesting. Didn’t know there was a Brazil-Caribbean summit. Looking forward to hearing what comes out of it.
Excellent to see PM Browne participating in this crucial Brazil-Caribbean Summit. Strengthening regional ties and fostering cooperation on issues like climate change and economic development is more vital than ever for the Caribbean’s future. Hope to see concrete outcomes from these high-level talks!
Let’s go. Stronger ties and less dependency on America for trade
A leader who can represent his country everywhere. Even in Gaza. Antiguans and Barbudans should be proud to have a leader like Gaston Alphonso Browne
