A gas leak at the Deluxe building has led to the closure of nearby businesses and the Magistrate Court, as emergency services respond to the dangerous situation.

The leak was reported Tuesday, prompting a swift evacuation of the building and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of residents and workers.

The Fire Department and the West Indies Oil Company have been called in to help resolve the issue.

Construction work in the area has been halted as crews focus on securing the site and addressing the gas leak.
