Work is in the final stages on the new 600,000-gallon storage tank at Buckleys, which is expected to come online by mid-September.
According to officials, the facility will provide a much-needed boost to the water distribution system, improving supply to residents from the Buckleys area through to Horsford Hill.
The project forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Antigua and Barbuda’s water infrastructure, addressing long-standing concerns about reliability and access. Once commissioned, the tank is expected to ease shortages in surrounding communities, particularly during periods of high demand.

Good that’s development. Next big project on the government agenda is to FIX ALL SAINTS ROAD
Great news! This upgrade should improve water storage and supply reliability for the area. Looking forward to seeing it in operation.
I find that alot of effort is being made to increase water but no water in my tap. How is that?
We’ve been promised ‘improvements’ for years. Let’s not celebrate until water runs in our pipes every day
Until people can bathe and cook without worrying about water cuts, this is just talk.
