Citizens of Panama can now visit Antigua and Barbuda without a visa, following what Prime Minister Gaston Browne described as “an oversight corrected.”
Browne made the announcement while receiving credentials from Panama’s new ambassador, Ana Irene Delgado, Thursday.
“Just as our people can visit Panama freely, so too can Panamanians now travel to Antigua and Barbuda without a visa,” the Prime Minister said.
The move is expected to boost tourism, investment, and cultural exchanges particularly given the historical ties between Antiguans and Panamanians dating back to the early 20th century, when many Caribbean nationals worked on the Panama Canal.
Ambassador Delgado welcomed the change and noted that it comes at a time when both nations are renewing efforts to strengthen economic and diplomatic cooperation.

Whit that no happent to antigua and Domican Republica
Interesting decision. I just hope it’s a two way street Panamanians can come here, but can Antiguans go there without a visa too?
Next up, let’s make it even easier for Antiguans to visit Panama!
