Outgoing Chinese Ambassador Zhang Yanling continues to receive heartfelt messages of gratitude as she concludes her tenure in Antigua and Barbuda.
The Social Protection Board, led by Operations Manager Mary Baltimore, presented Ambassador Zhang with a plaque of appreciation on behalf of Minister Rawdon Turner and staff, thanking her for her “dedicated service” and “invaluable contributions.”
Baltimore conveyed that the ambassador would be “greatly missed” and extended best wishes as she completed her assignment.
Meanwhile, Vijay Tewani, Honorary Consul of India to Antigua and Barbuda, also expressed warm appreciation, commending Ambassador Zhang for her commitment to strengthening ties between China and Antigua and Barbuda.
He praised her warmth, professionalism, and lasting impact on the community, noting that her presence had “left a meaningful mark” on the country.
Ambassador Zhang’s farewell has been met with widespread admiration, reflecting her strong diplomatic leadership and the deep goodwill she fostered during her service.
