Public voting has officially opened for the Antigua and Barbuda National Music Awards, with organizers calling on supporters nationwide to cast their ballots and help decide who takes home top honours across a wide range of categories celebrating the country’s music and creative industries.
The voting period marks a significant milestone in this year’s awards cycle, with the public invited to weigh in on everything from individual performers to events and ensembles that have shaped Antigua and Barbuda’s cultural landscape over the past year.
Categories open for public vote include DJ of the Year, Recording Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Band of the Year, Jam Band of the Year, MC of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Sound of the Year, and both Large Scale and Niche Event of the Year — reflecting the breadth and diversity of the local industry the awards seek to recognise.
Nominees across the categories represent some of the country’s most recognised names in music and entertainment. Among those vying for Recording Artist of the Year are Kritiqz, Tian Winter, Arlen Seaton, Claudette Peters, Hope Serrant, Soca Villain, Island Prince, and Drastic, while the Song of the Year category features tracks including Daughter Come by Geve, BB Service by Soca Villain, Antigua Mas by Tian Winter, and Good Nf by Niqko Wyld West. The DJ of the Year category sees DJ Quest, DJ Tenny, Kavity, DJ Riddim Master, DJ Nez, and DJ Elements competing for the title.
Organizers have urged the public to make their voices heard, noting that every vote plays a role in shaping the outcome.
Voting is open through the official awards website at https://abmusicawards.com/. Winners will be honoured at a ceremony on February 26, 2026.

Good luck to all of them. May the best man or woman win
