LETTER: PASSO SHOULD I LET YOU GO?

You can now listen to Antigua News articles!

Orden Passo David

Dear Passo,

I find myself missing you deeply. Each passing day since your departure feels heavier, and now it has been over 15 long days without a single trace of you. The uncertainty weighs on my heart, and I question whether I should learn to let go.

If fate prevents us from ever crossing paths again and you remain lost, I hope you carry with you the knowledge of how profoundly you were cherished. Your unwavering passion for health and community work rippled through the lives of so many, leaving a lasting impact that can never be erased.

I want to believe you understood how vital you were—how you stood as a beacon of hope for those of us still navigating the shadows of our own identities.

Passo, I am filled with regret for the things I never found the courage to say to you—the words that now linger in the silence between us. I fear I may never have the opportunity to express them.

For the sake of closure, I hold onto the hope that you will be found, in whatever form that may take. Though your physical presence may fade away, your spirit and memory will continue to illuminate our lives. You will always be with us, etched in our hearts.

Someone who loves you

ANOTHER PERSON HAS MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED WITHOUT A TRACE in Antigua. Where is the hue and cry for something more to be done, for the Scotland Yard, the FBI to be brought onboard? But we hear, nothing!, We see nothing!

WHAT’S THE COUNT NOW? Don’t we think this should be declared as priority #1. Or, are we going to wait until the predator or predators are emboldened and children start to dissappear? But we know that only when persons of a certain class and status are affected do we see action and clamoring.

What a sad, sad, sad state of affairs.

Passo gone. There are so many people we will never see again. The chances of him being alive are slim. My heart is broken. I know you weren’t a troublemaker. What could have happened to you? Who killed you? Who took you?
