VIDEO: “Whoever Killed Chantel Should Pay”-Alex Martinez

The head of the Hispanic community in Antigua and Barbuda Alex Martinez, is calling for justice for 9-year-old Chantel Crump, who was abducted and then murdered by 20-year-old Angela Mejia.

Martinez is saddened that Mejia, who is of Hispanic descent, was the one who confessed to the crime.

He also addressed concerns of threats made against the Hispanic community.

    I think it’s unfair to target the Hispanic community for the actions of one or two individuals.

    Can’t say I disagree with you at all. What really is the value they bring to our country? They do not readily integrate with the people whose space they are occupying. They tend to be excessively loud, indifferent to garbage build-up in and around their premises, and parade after hours at various hot mainly in and around St John’s. They clearly have friends in the Police Force and the immigration department. Question of the day. What greater value do these people bring to our shores than that of the West Africans who had a real need for political asylum but were rounded up and chased to a watery grave, just soo??!!
