The staff of Tucker on the Grill continued their giving ways this Christmas season by remaining true to their annual food drive; which feeds the homeless and less fortunate during the yuletide season.
Cecil Joyce, the man behind the undertaking says this year’s initiative was a “great success”
Activities started by distributing food packages to seniors in the New Winthrop and Barnes Hill communities.
“We wanted to ensure that they had their necessities. We then journeyed to the western side of the island where we treated a deserving family of eight to a scrumptious Christmas dinner and toys for the children,” Joyce said.
The day’s activities ended with the annual Soup Kitchen lunch, where friends at the V.C. Bird Bust vicinity looked forward to the usual home-cooked delights.
“Thank you to all our partners who came on board this year to ensure that those who are a little less fortunate enjoyed the joy of the season. Special thanks to BarStox our platinum sponsor. Mr. Raymond Yhap who not only has financial support came and give a lending hand. Special thanks also to Kerriane Robinson and Thomas Enterprise,” Joyce added.
