Incumbent Member of Parliament for St Peter, Asot Michael who is contesting the January 18 general election as an independent candidate has launched his 50-page manifesto titled ” Born to love, Raised to care and Committed to serving.
During the event held in Fitches Creek on January 12, Michael highlighted several projects which he hopes to implement if elected to serve the people of that constituency.
The manifesto; a social contract between Michael and the constituents includes among other things the building of a harbor in Parham.
Among the list of projects, Michael told those gathered that manifesto 2023 aims to “deliver quality jobs and open doors for greater economic opportunities for you. A proper road network, adequate and reliable water supply, dependable electricity services, quality affordable health care, and properly equipped safe schools.”
Michael says he is confident that he will be able to accomplish all these projects since he has been operating as an independent candidate “since 2004”.
The manifesto is divided into six chapters, Profile, Accomplishments, Victim of justice, Presentation, Forward together, and Brighter days.
