The Leader of the United Progressive Party Jamal Pringle has told a huge crowd of supporters at the Rising Sun Grounds that he is no longer the single pringle that was ridiculed in parliament over the last five years
And with a stronger presence in Parliament, Pringle said his team will “fight the government tooth and nail”, about the issues confronting the country.
On Thursday, the UPP staged a march that commenced at the Multipurpose Center to the Rising Sun Grounds.
The aim of the march according to the organizers, it’s to put pressure on the sitting Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party to seriously address the issue of inadequate water supply, the Antigua Airways issue, and the lack of incentives to curtail the high cost of living.
“Let me thank the people of All Saints East and St Luke for re-electing me for a second time. It shows that they are pleased with the level of representation. I didn’t have the millions to spend but even with that, they got licks like rain. And even more so, I am no longer single in the house of parliament. I have my other colleagues who will stand up and fight,” Pringle said.
“We are here because we care about Antigua and Barbuda and we cannot continue to sit and do nothing. We need to continue the fight. We are not going to rest the matter of the Antigua Airways. We want answers. We want to know about the cargo that came on that flight…who authorized the visa on arrival, we want to know what it cost us to have Antigua Airways”, he added
He said the UPP also wants answers relating to several other matters including the Alfa Nero.
Pringle said the UPP intends to continue to fight, asking the relevant questions about what he said is “bad governance”
“How can you be upset to give an account for your actions? We are not afraid to confront the government and we will continue to put the issues and ask the question for them to answer…If we have to campaign every week, we will do so because we expect answers and we deserve no less. When we took the stand to leave the halls of parliament is not because we didn’t want to represent you, we are just not tolerating any disrespect from the ABLP. This is over,” Pringle said.
Other members of the UPP including Sean Bird, Franz Defreitas, and Pearl Quinn also spoke at last night’s political march and rally. The Barbuda MP Trevor Walker was there.
He said he has no respect for the ABLP, accusing them of wanting to steal the Barbuda lands
“They see Barbuda as a Diamond in their pocket. They have decided to rape Barbuda for all that they have. I won’t allow them to do that”, Walker said.
He nor his party still in getting into gov’t, he too hateful of non nationals
What UPP AND JAMAUL PRINGLE THEM COULD DO EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT IF ABLP CARNT FIX IT THEM CARNT OR DON’T EVEN HAVE A CLUE REMEMBER THAT ERROL CORT SAID THAT ALP COULD MARCH TO TIMBOKTU WELL JAMAUL PRINGLE AND HE UPP HAVE NO CLUE CAN MARCH UNYIL THEY FIND AND MARCH TO THE TOP OF THE TOWER OF BABEL THEY WILL NEVER GOVERN ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA!
Just saying, everyone knows that Pringles is a lot of talk no action and full of shit
Pringle need to sit his dried up ass somewhere because he’s making a bunch of noise and still cannot deliver. If you know so much why don’t he fix the water issue everything he’s marching and complaining about since he feel that he’s more qualified and we all know he’s not then why don’t he put up or shut up fix it before you create more problem the problem is you because you think you know so much and you know nothing just a bunch of garbage They always says when trash become trash it gets stinker and you definitely stinking up the place sit down somewhere
These clowns act like we all have amnesia. What did the UPP do to ease our water woes? It’s not like yesterday Antigua had a water problem.
What relief does he think he would bring to our cost of living when ALL OVER THE WORLD they are facing the same economic crisis. Why doesn’t Clueless Springle bring solutions instead of more lip talk.
If the government “steals” DGiselle’s idea and the citizens benefit, wouldn’t that make you feel good, you’ve done a Patriotic thing.
The problem is: YOU HAVE ZERO PLAN/ IDEA worth anything and so you again, get laughed at and jeered because if a cow ran in St Luke & All Saints East for UPP the cow would win. Your win isn’t some monumental achievement Springle.
Get over yourself.
This water 💦 problem is a serious situation and people need to stop playing partisan political tricks with it… it’s a life and death issue and neither the ruling administration, APUA management or many of our people are not making this matter a top emergency priority. In these modern times with so much technology in this area of production example Israel… too much corruption & deception in this but it will be exposed Sooner or later…
UPP people need to sit they tired backside down somewhere they look a hot mess Marching up and down the place like a bunch of fools what are you complication? Nothing Antigua have a water problem. That’s all over the world. OK nothing is a easy fix everything takes time and money so Pringle sit your tired and old ass down somewhere it is time for the rocking chair
The Prime Minister of Antigua by the name of Gaston Browne is not going anywhere we the citizen of Antigua took a vote and put them in that seat and that’s what is why he’s going to remain for the rest of his term until time to take another vote UPP have no place and no business to run Antigua . None of y’all are Qualified to run ANTIGUA JUST A bunch of talk and no action just flipping off at the mouth and cannot deliver. No common sense just take a back seat
