Party insiders suggest that the primary battle will mainly be between community activist Randy Baltimore and Robin Yearwood Jr., the son of the incumbent. Baltimore has gained substantial support through his grassroots efforts and community involvement.
Meanwhile, Yearwood Jr., who recently returned to Antigua to enter the political fray, carries the legacy of his father, a longstanding figure in the constituency.
