Karl Warner

Body modification artist Karl Warner has been sentenced to spend just over a decade in prison.

Last month, Warner was found guilty of seven counts of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl over a three-month period in 2021.

The artist had befriended the teenage victim after she visited his business, where he offers body piercing services, to inquire about a procedure.

Warner’s inappropriate relationship with the underage girl developed during subsequent visits to his workplace, sometimes while she was still in her school uniform.

In the trial, the court heard evidence of multiple sexual encounters between Warner and the victim, with the first incident occurring on February 24, 2021.

Justice Tunde Bakre sentenced him to spend 11 years in prison yesterday.

Just 11 years? Only 1 year over a decade? These pedophiles belong in a grave if I have to tell you. Antigua needs an execution system.

So why is his photo printed with every story on the crime. Recently, an Indian national was found guilty of rape as well. Why is his identity (photograph) not made available to the public???? I’m getting to dislike Abtigua more and more 🥺

Cutie Benjamin controls the law system in Antigua and Barbuda. Whatever he and Gaston said should become public knowledge can be published. Remember, our government (whoever is in power) makes these laws in parliament and cabinet. People with high status are protected from the public.

@Faithful national, perhaps they don’t have one. And I read the case of the Indian man. I believe he touched her and she was an adult. I believe this man here screwed the child. Makes sense? But crime is a crime.
