Police have confirmed that what they thought was an accident on Sir Sydney Walling Highway this morning, that claimed the life of a man; was in fact a homicide.
The 29-year-old man from Herbert’s was actually shot in the chest.
He was driving a Toyota Corolla west to east in the vicinity of Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. Reports are that he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Nissan Urvan traveling in the opposite direction.
But police say after their investigations, they realized that the man had been shot once and a spent shell was found on the passenger side of his vehicle.
It is reported another man ran from the car following the crash.
As for the driver of the Nissan, he is currently at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center complaining of pains in his body.
