The United Progressive Party (UPP) has held what they say was a very successful motorcade on Monday. Hundreds of vehicles turned out to participate in the first political motorcade for this election period.

The organizers say residents turned out willingly and did not have to be bribed or enticed or even offered fuel to attend.

The train kicked off from the Rising Sun Grounds just after 11. am and passed through all 16 constituencies. The turnout according to the UPP signals a need for change.

We captured some of the moments.
