ABS TV/Radio’s senior news and sports reporter, Terry Andrew is now headed for The People’s Republic of China, where he will be participating in a 4-month training course for journalists from the English-speaking Caribbean.

It is being made possible by the China Latin America and the Caribbean Press Center of the China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC).

The CIPCC will hold lectures on the political, economic, and social aspects of China, conduct journalism training, and organize internships with Chinese media.

The programme will also include meetings with government officials, industry representatives, think tanks, and media houses and visits to various provinces and municipalities.

Participants will also have the opportunity to cover major domestic and diplomatic events in China. (Source ABS)
