After quite a scare, Allakai Samuel whose stage name is Soca Villan has been released from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center

He was stabbed several times during Labour Day activities

My brother would like to extend his love and appreciation to all the nurses and doctors both in the ER and on the ward and to everyone who took the time out to donate blood at the SLBMC at the time when he needed it. He wants to say a special thank you to all the prayer warriors around the world who took the time out to pray for him to get well soon with a speedy recovery,” his sister posted on Facebook.

When the stabbing occurred, Samuel was performing with his band LSA on a truck when someone from the crowd began throwing bottles in the air. One or many of them reportedly landed on the truck.

Soca Villan reportedly intervened when he was stabbed by the perpetrator.

Villan was in critical condition at the SLBMC.
