16 Year Old Charged for Killing Roudi Shmaly

The police have arrested and charged a 16 year-old youth in connection with the alleged murder of Roudi Shamly.

The Upper Fort Road accused is expected in court sometime tomorrow, Thursday for his first appearance.

The Police Administration is thanking the general public for the support offered to the police during the investigation.

The police are further encouraing the public to continue supporting their efforts in the process of solving other outstanding matters of crime.

The 25-year-old was killed from a gunshot wound to his head when a young man robbed the Pick ‘N Mix Mart on DeSouza Road where he worked

The incident happened shortly after 1 pm. The gunman fled the scene with an undetermined sum of money from the cashier in the mart. 

Shmaly came to Antigua from Syria during the Covid-19 pandemic and was working towards his wedding. His fiancé lives in Syria.

  2. I AM HOPING THE POLICE HAVE THIS CASE RAP UP PROPERLY, BECAUSE TOO OFTEN POLICE IN ANTIGUA DON’T DO THEIR INVESTIGATION PROPERLY. AND CASES GOT THROUGH AWAY.
