Law enforcement officials are continuing to rake up large quantities of drugs from the country’s ports with the most recent drug interdiction taking place on June 1.
Yesterday morning, the narcotics department and customs enforcement at the Deep-Water Harbour cargo shed conducted a search of two barrels and found 13 vacuumed sealed packages of cannabis inside.
The substance weighed in at 13 pounds and is valued at $104,000.
A few days ago, 56 packages od marijuana were found in a barrel at the same harbour.
Those packages weighed 56 pounds and carried an estimated street value of $336,000.
Meanwhile, at the All Saints Magistrate’s court yesterday, Adil Colbourne admitted to
Possession of unlicensed firearm, (2) Possession of 28 rounds of ammunition, (3) Possession of Cannabis plants and Cultivation of said plants.
He was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison and will return to court on Monday for sentencing.




Possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, and cultivating marijuana plants and in possession of the said plants didn’t get bail but was sent to prison awaits sentence. However, an unlicensed driver drove above the road speed limit and caused the death of the young man who got bail.
