Jahfari Issac

The family and loved ones of Jahfari Isacc who was shot multiple times on Sunday night say they are hoping for a miracle, as the 25-year-old continues to fight for his life at the Intensive Care Unit at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center

A family member of the Willikies man said the reports from the hospital are not good.

“He is barely holding on. We cannot say goodbye. He was shot in the head, side, and thigh…they told us when he got to the hospital he was in bad shape and they did their best. They told us things are not looking good,” the family member said

Jahfari is still not breathing on his own and the grim reality is that it is unlikely that he will survive.

“I know what the doctors are saying but there is a God above. A miracle is what we need right now because all medical officials have given up”

At around 8-pm, Jahfari was shot at a bar in Willikies. Sources say the violent act stemmed from an altercation just mere minutes before he sustained the bullet wounds.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or the Crimestoppers Hotline at 800-Tips (8477).
