All hopes that the family of Jahfari Issac had that he would have survived injuries sustained in Willikies fell flat today after he was pronounced dead

Isaac was pronounced dead at approximately 12:45 am on Tuesday, June 13, after spending just over a week in the Intensive Care Unit at the Sir Lester Bird Center.

Issac, who was only 25 years received multiple bullet wounds. He has been fighting for his life at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center. He was shot in the head, thigh, side, and scrotum.

Medical experts had said initially that it was unlikely that he would have survived.

The police are continuing investigations into the matter.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or the Crimestoppers Hotline at 800-Tips (8477).

  2. What a senseless loss of a young life! God have mercy! Condolences to his family and loved ones. With that being said….Let’s do better Antigua. Let us not become crime ridden, greedy and violence, not valuing human life like the USA… We must be better by doing better. Come on now.
