House Speaker Sir Gerald Watt KC has acknowledged that politician Kelvin Simon resigned from Parliament on June 7.
Sir Gerald wrote to Simon in a letter dated today, June 30, saying that Simon’s resignation was “automatic” upon the Speaker’s receipt of Simon’s resignation letter on June 7.
