Ham and Turkey Distribution Starts on Monday

16 December 2023 - 23:10

Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister, Gaston Browne, announced on Saturday that the government will be distributing hams and turkeys to all residents in the country this holiday season.

The Prime Minister clarified that this act of generosity is based on the spirit of sharing and is not an attempt at bribery, as some critics have suggested.

Browne emphasized that the government has imported enough hams and turkeys to ensure that every family in Antigua and Barbuda receives their fair share.

This year’s batch of hams and turkeys is the largest the government has ever imported into the country.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the culture of sharing and expressed the government’s commitment to continuing this tradition.

He stated that despite occasional criticisms, the government aims to give back to the public and show gratitude to the people of Antigua and Barbuda for their support.

Browne assured the public that the government will continue to share what little they have, and expressed his gratitude to the people of Antigua and Barbuda for their support.

  1. Gaston needs to tell his ABLP supporters who will be sharing the ham and turkey to make sure every household in Antigua and Barbuda receives a fair share for the Christmas season.
